Derek and Helen the landlord and landlady are out of hospital and will be opening the pub from today (Saturday).
Tell everybody you know!!
They still have nowhere to live and a lot of work will have to be done to the flat.
We would like to wish them well and hope there is no permanent damage to them or there business.

Happy New Year to all Southport Cruiser Members, and guests, looking forward to the coming year with great anticipation, hopefully we will be publishing our events list early and all members will be contributing.
If the committee get their act together we should be having a bumper year with all sorts of varying events to enjoy so get your diary ready and fill in the dates as we publish. Preliminary events list should be out by the end of January 2009.

Don't forget to get your memberships renewed ASAP.

I heard of the Southport Cruisers from one of the Motorcycle clubs that I am in (WDMC), I am also in the VMCC, but I have not met anyone from the Cruisers yet and know very little about the Southport Cruisers. So I was wondering if you could give me a quick rundown on the club?
For example, how many members do you have?
How often do you organise rides out? Do you have a calender of events?
I believe you meet on a Wednesday evening at the Southport Carousel, any particular time?
Do you operate a newsletter and or e-mail for your members?
Are runs restricted to cruisers only or can any dedicated motorcyclist join in?
Do you operate a members address/phone list?
Any other information on the club would be appreciated.
